Cry Freedom

スティーブ・ビコは乱暴な男だと人は言う。ではなぜその男が平和についての話をしたのだろうか。彼は革命を望んでいるのだと人は言う。ではなぜその男が友情について話をしたのだろうか。彼は飢え死にしたと人は言う。ではなぜその男の死体は傷だらけだったのだろうか。これは南アフリカ政府と戦った男の物語である。嘘ではなく真実を選ぶ人間ならだれでも経験しうる物語である。「自由」を声高に求め死を厭わない人間なら誰でも経験しうる物語である。
