20,000 Leagues under the Sea

1866年、世界中の海のあちこちで、正体不明の巨大な何かが人々を驚愕させていた。クジラよりも速く泳ぎ、最も頑強な船体の底に穴をあけるほどの力を備えるというそれは、いったい何なのか。アロナクス博士は、この「怪物」を探索すべく、冒険の旅に乗り出した。だが、ネモ船長という不可解な人物に出会ってからというもの、その旅は博士の想像を超えた奇怪なものになってゆく。博士は海底に潜む新たな世界を発見するが、そこには思いもよらない驚異と危険が待ち構えていた。

It is 1866, and there is trouble in the world's oceans. What is the extraordinary thing that people have seen there, travelling faster than a whale and cutting holes in the bottom of the strongest ships? Dr Aronnax joins the search for the 'monster', hoping for an exciting adventure. But when he meets the mysterious Captain Nemo, his adventure becomes more extraordinary than he had ever imagined, and he discovers a new underwater world, full of wonders, but of strange dangers too...
