The Phantom of the Opera

1880年パリのオペラ座である。オペラ座の怪人―オペラ座の中のどこかに棲む幽霊―のことを誰もが話題にしていた。その幽霊は黒い服をまとっている。あるときは首がなく体だけで、またあるときは体がなく首だけだ。顔は黄色く、鼻はなく、目玉のあったところに黒い穴がある。歌手、踊り子、演出家、舞台関係者―誰もがその幽霊を恐れた。だが、実際にその幽霊を見たものがいるのだろうか。

It is 1880, in the Opera House in Paris. Everybody is talking about the Phantom of the Opera, the ghost that lives somewhere under the Opera House. The Phantom is a man in black clothes.
